Family with kids will love it!
We had this corner room, right on the terrace! My boys enjoyed it so much, they wanted to stay up late just to watch people in the piazza below. The breakfast was excellent, every morning they had tons of pastries and fresh fruit, and the staff would remember our coffee orders!
It wasn’t exactly cheap but for what we got, it was worth every cent.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, which made
our stay feel more personalized and enjoyable. The room, while cozy, was a bit smaller than expected. However, the fantastic location near the Spanish Steps made it easy to explore all the nearby attractions without much hassle.

We stayed in the Quadruple Room and it was spacious with two separate rooms, each having a bathroom and a balcony. The decor was nice, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The only downside was the steep stairs, but it wasn’t too much of a hassle. Overall, we felt very comfortable there.

Location at the top of the Spanish Steps, stunning views from the annex, traditional Roman ambiance
The trek to access the main hotel facilities involves a lengthy stair climb!!! More consistent communication regarding stair accessibility would greatly improve the experience, especially for larger groups!!!

I spent three nights at Scalinata Di Spagna and truly enjoyed it. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the Spanish Steps. The room was small but comfortable, typical for Europe, with a lovely view over the square. The hotel staff, particularly the front desk, were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast had a good variety, served on a nice terrace, making it a pleasant way to start the day. I used the metro nearby, and many great shops and restaurants were within walking distance. One downside was having to climb the Spanish Steps to reach the main hotel for breakfast. The soundproofing could also be better. noise from neighboring rooms was noticeable. Overall, it was a lovely hotel adding to my Rome experience.
